THE PROTOTYPE OF THE RUSSIAN-FINNISH DIGITAL INVESTMENT PLATFORM IS PRESENTED
On August 11, the online Workshop for researchers, experts, specialists «Russian-Finnish Digital Investment Platform: first steps» was held. The Workshop was the first public event of the Bringing Together project, where the results achieved over the past 6 months were presented.
On behalf of the South-East Finland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020, within the framework of which the project is being implemented, the participants were greeted by project expert of the PROGRAMME BRANCH OFFICE Valentina Chaplinskaya.
Project Leader, vice-president of the SPbCCI Ludmila Karelina told about the main tasks of the project and the partners involved in its implementation. The project is to bring together of the innovative, research, training and business capacity, resources, best practices and experiences for strengthening of investment and business processes in the border areas of Russia and Finland.
Project manager Diana Dubrova (IPE LAB Ltd.) presented a prototype of the Common Cross-Border Digital Platform, for their development, the 9 Finnish and about 20 Russian investment and service digital platforms were analyzed.
The General logic of creating a common digital cross-border space is based on combining services to support investment activities and interaction of participants, providing access to the community of corporations and entrepreneurs, access to federal and regional development agencies, registers of investors and experts, and enabling integration of various accelerators, services and digital solutions on a single platform.
The portal being developed within the project will be a new generation solution. The traditional portal structure will become only a part of it, represented by static pages. In addition, the structure provides a complex directory system that allows to provide information in graphical form in the context of a query. The rating table will work to ensure that the dynamics of participants ' promotion is observable. It is planned to organize interactive interaction with each user in order to offer them exactly the information that will be useful and demanded by them, based on their role and interests.
Diana Dubrova also informed about how the project competition will be conducted, project evaluation for investors, the observability of their development, etc.
As a result of extensive analytical work, project partners and experts: Olga Pechenova (SPbCCI), Valery Zhuk (Karelian Consulting Oy) and Urho Blom (Eurofacts Oy) reviewed economic indicators, taxation features and other indicators that characterize the investment potential of the border regions of Russia and Finland.
At the end of the event, representatives of organizations participating in the Project Target Groups presented their working practices: information trading platform "Bizhelp.pro" (Victor Faberje), Smartup Accelerator Network (Tatiana Malevannaya) - a network that provides new opportunities for cooperation, and Accelerator of ITMO University (Irina Lvova) that promotes the development of startups in St. Petersburg.
