Project Leader Ludmila Karelina took part in a business brunch within the framework of the Finnish Business Forum

On December 2, the 10th Finnish Business Forum was held in St. Petersburg, organized by the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce. Within the framework of the forum, the Finnish investment agency Invest in Finland held a business brunch for representatives of Russian companies interested in localization of business in Finland.

The event was attended by the Ludmila Karelina, Project Leader of the Bringing Together project, vice president of the SPbCCI. The business program of the brunch included a speech by Olga Makeeva, Senior Adviser of Business Finland in St. Petersburg, "Invest in Finland 2021: Results of the year and new opportunities-2022".

In the speech, it was noted that Finland leads in many world rankings, including the country has become a leader in the UN international sustainable development rating, and is attractive for international investment. Despite the economic crisis and closed borders, Russian companies also show an active interest in Finland - 50% of applications for a Startup permit come from them.

The project develops cooperation with Business Finland and considers it as a potential partner of the project and the Bringing Together platform. At the end of the event, negotiations were also held with representatives of companies - potential users of the Platform.
