Project Steering Committee Meeting was held

On November 23, the Project Steering Committee Meeting of the Bringing Together project was held.

Dr. Ludmila Karelina, Project Leader, vice-president of the SPbCCI, made the presentation about the Project, the Digital platform and the Investment Mentors School. She informed about the results achieved, about the events in Russia and Finland at which the project was presented, the planned events. Dr. Ludmila Karelina also presented the video about the project, in which the platform's services are covered in detail.

Anna Isakova, Director of the SPb State Company “Investment Management” noted the project in progress and expressed readiness to provide information about investment projects in St. Petersburg, as well as to inform investors about the platform.

Eini Arponen, Project coordinator of the South-East Finland - Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020, confirmed that the project is actively developing and noted to pay more attention to the involvement of Finnish participants.

Andrey Blinsky, Deputy Director of the Fund of the SMEs development of SPb, said that the Fund is ready to support the project's initiatives, and also expressed special gratitude for the creation of the Investment Mentors School.

Aleksandra Turunen, representative of the Kymenlaakso Regional Counsil, highly appreciated the prepared video and expressed the opinion that it will help users to better understand the services and capabilities of the platform.

Jaroslav Romashko, Development Director of the NP RUSSOFT, talked about the possibilities of CBC cooperation between St. Petersburg and Finland. Among the issues of most concern to entrepreneurs from Russia planning to do business in Finland, he called difficulties with opening an bank account, relocating specialists and finding a local partner. He noted that the Digital platform in the future can help with the solution of the issue of finding a local partner.

The next PSC meeting will be held in six months.

At the end of the meeting, the Project working group meeting was held, at which participants discussed current issues and tasks.
